Policies:

Before making reservations please review the below policies. If you have questions do not hesitate to give us a call. We want your stay to be filled with only pleasant surprises.

Check-In: Check-in is between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If arriving later than 7:00 PM, please notify us with your expected arrival time. Call to request an early check-in.

Breakfast: A full-service breakfast is included for Bed and Breakfast guests between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Earlier or to-go breakfast options may be available by request. Breakfast is not included for Cottage guests, but may be arranged for an extra fee.

Check-Out: Check-out is by 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be arranged, subject to availability.

Deposit and Cancellation
Standard Reservations: Standard reservations do not require a deposit. A valid credit card is collected at booking to hold the reservation. We understand that plans can change, and standard reservations may be cancelled without penalty. Payment is collected during your stay. No-shows will be charged the full reservation amount.

Peak-Demand Reservations: A 50% deposit is collected at booking. Remaining balance due during the stay. Dates included are Penn State Graduation, PSU home football weekends, Parents’ Weekend, Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, Bryce Jordan Center events, and others as determined by the innkeeper.

Peak-Demand Cancellations: For Peak-Demand Reservations other than Penn State Graduation, cancellations made more than 45 days prior to arrival receive a refund minus a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 45 days forfeit the deposit unless the room is rebooked, in which case refunds are adjusted for rate differences and the cancellation fee.
Penn State Graduation deposits are non-refundable .

Smoking: Non-smoking home. There are designated outdoor smoking areas available. Smoking inside will result in a $300 restoration charge.

Quiet Time: Quiet time requested between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Children: Children over age 6 welcome. Younger children may be accommodated with the cottage or whole house rental, or by prior arrangement.

Pets: No pets permitted.
